Pumpkin time

The girls were not big fans of the pumpkin guts.  Hallie is still talking about how gross they were and how nasty it is that some people eat them.   As the kids get older, traditions get sweeter.  My favorite thing in the world is spending time all together.

Saigey loves this face.  Because she is guaranteed a laugh out of us, it is her staple when it's time to ham it up.

Swim

 Because Hallie has been so fearful of the water, I decided to put her in swimming lessons this summer.  

Her teacher's name was Elizabeth and Hal loved her.  Now, whenever I swim with her she wants me to pretend to be Elizabeth and play all the games and do all the swimming drills Elizabeth taught her. 

 By the end, she was an old pro.

Saigey didn't think it was fair that she couldn't get in too.

The 4th

For The 4th of July this year, we had a BBQ with some friends.  It started sunny with cute-faced Hal and her buds in the pool.

 Tyler is her best friend.  She is way too interested with weddings and marriage and says she will marry either Tyler, daddy's friend Aaron, Prince Eric, or her imaginary husbands Nick and Ryan.  Maybe even two of them.

Back to the 4th.  

Then it started to rain.  (Words can not express how in love I am with this picture of H.)

 So we all literally crammed inside.  Can you believe this cake?!?!

 It ended at home with some sparkler fun.  Saige's face made the night.
